Really well thought out take on these tools

awesome addition to any of these tools for those that like to use the smallest blade possible for the project. I do wish you could purchase components separately because if I decide to get the Merlin, I don't need another ruler, much less another 8 inch one.

Craftsmanship is excellent, numbering is clear, however, I like a higher contrast between the background and the numbering - my sight problem - not the quality of the rulers in any way. They are easy to use and came packaged in foam that would hold them securely in a toolbox while bouncing down a bumpy road.

Hard to get too excited about rulers, but I will say the engineering and manufacture of this set is clearly top notch. The flatness/straightness is perfect, and anodizing (I assume) is spotless and the markings are very easy to read. Another 5 star tool.
