It's an ok square. I guess it would be fine for woodworking but not so good for steel fab. The aluminum rule would easily get worn. Live and learn . Nice design though.
Precise and sturdy with excellent packaging to prevent damage. 45 and 90 are built in in addition to protractor so can dial in a custom angle but still check 90 and 45 without changing the protractor.
Wow ! Love the Ridgway Adjustable Carpenter Sq. This tool has a very nice weight, not flimsy, well made. Etched in numbers, easy to read and fully adjustable. I also like the fact that it has a built in 'protractor' for my angle needs.. Great layout tool! Used it the first day I go it for laying out and then using it in the construction of a 300 sq ft deck, handrails,staircase,etc.. Thanks Izzy!!

The Ridgeway Square seem quality like the other tools, however they were not deburred (the time taking task that makes the parts opperate smoothly - both metal & coatings). With a little work, I made each tool slide smooth, with the exception of the Red Tail Offset Ruler.
The Red Tailed Offset Ruler does not slide when assembled. Each part slides on their own, but there seems to be a misalignment that binds when put together. The slide seems culpable, as determined by swapping parts with the Ridgway Square, which slide smoothly on the ruler and using the pin.
3 Stars, product seems in good faith, however asking for a review prior to answering support, just isn't the best. Probably a canned Shopify experience (noise generator for what isn't important at this moment / hype++!)
The precision is fantastic and the packaging is awesome.
